give the gift of education

Every year vast quantities of expensive and temporary gifts are purchased during traditional holiday gift exchanges. These presents so often are soon consumed or broken, their primary meaning having come from the price tag. We're suggesting something different: continue to show love and appreciation and give gifts, not by the amount you spend, but the time and effort. Hand craft something, think of creative and cost-effective ways to show you care, build the relationship because it is the thought and meaning behind the gift that is so valuable.

What is left after that? The means to change the world. The resources to not only tell your family and friends that you love them, but to help others in need. Because with the money you didn't spend on gifts with a high price tag you can bring long-lasting and sustainable education to kids who otherwise will never get it.

How much did you save this season? Enough to:

+ sponsor a child for $20. this purchases the needed schoolbooks for a year (often these books are reused for several years).

+ adopt a classroom. edurelief is petitioning businesses, classrooms in our communities, sports teams, churches, and other organizations to take on the challenge of making a future for groups of 15 students.
